Another product candidate in our generics pipeline is quetiapine fumarate extended-release capsules. It is a generic version of the marketed drug Seroquel XR®. This product is currently the subject of an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) filing with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is available for partnering.

Quetiapine fumarate is an oral psychotropic agent indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. According to Wolters Kluwer Health, sales of Seroquel XR® were approximately US$1 billion for the 12 months ending September 2011.
